    I have recently been afflicted by an outbreak of poems. Here are some of them.
    • Dromineer, December 2007
      My last poem of the year 2007. It arrived at a most inconvenient moment, outdoors, in bad weather. I had to take off my gloves to write the first draft, and nearly lost fingers.
    • I Think Continually Of Those Who Were Really Something
      Three linked poems, written on planes and trains between Berlin and Bristol, November 12th 2007
    • Philip
      This one arrived politely, after breakfast, and hardly disturbed the day at all. (February 21st 2007.)
    • It Is Better To See Your Father Buried
      This one stopped me from getting to sleep the night of February 20th, 2007
    • Closed Loop
      I wrote this sequence in the dark, December 28th, 2006. In the morning I couldn't find them. Then I tilted my notebook, it caught the light, and I found these silver poems written on top of black prose... Pity they're crap.
    • The Book Of Longing Has Disturbed My Sleep
      My favourite. And popular with punks, apparently. A sequence of ten short poems that cost me a night's sleep in December 2006.
