  • Jude: Level 1
    Jude: Level 1
    by Julian Gough

My new novel. It starts with the award-winning, BBC broadcast prologue, "The Orphan and the Mob", and continues with Jude's quest for True Love in Tipperary, Galway, the Aran Islands, and Dublin... Love, death, arson, philosophy, and sex. Starring Jude, an orphan who looks the spit of Leonardo DiCaprio. Except for having two penises. Which makes True Love... complicated.

  • Juno and Juliet
    Juno and Juliet
    by Julian Gough

My first novel, of which I am very fond. The adventures of teenage twin sisters Juno & Juliet, in their first year away from home. Life, love and literature, in Galway and Tipperary.

Forum (Talk Talk Talk...) > Any Book Recomendation?

Hey Julian,
I listened to you and now I'll spam a bit more, just for the pleasure of it. I was wondering if you can recommend me some good books to read, well because basically I don't have school for the next 3 months or so (teachers are in a huge strike here) so i need to occupy myself a little.
I would really like to start reading books a little bit more than the past (because of you of course). So a little recommendation will be very appreciated.

Thanks,
Ariel

That is such a big question I'm not sure where to begin. What books do you already love? Help me narrow it down...

Your age helps narrow it down a little already. Some books are best read at your age, some at my age. Some books, I'm not old enough to read them yet...

Well, I read all Dan Brown's books, none of them really was good except of Angels and Demons (The Da Vinci Code was alright). I read also all Mitch Albom's books which were to much of Philosophy in my oppinion. And i read one of Stephan King's books Colorado Kid which was pretty nice.
Hope yo ugot some ideas for me.

Ariel, I haven't forgotten you, but the responsibility is so great it's almost paralysing. However I've come up with some ideas... will sleep on them tonight, think about them a little more...

But yeah, I'll give you a shortlist tomorrow...
